Lovely accommodation with beautiful nature right on the doorstep. We celebrated two 40th birthdays with time to relax, good food and hiking. A great place that we would happily recommend. Thank you very much!
Staying at Wallhalla Bed & Breakfast
At Wallhalla, you’ll stay in a spacious house with several living rooms, a dining room and a reading corner. The rooms are individually decorated, and the house offers both privacy and plenty of space to spend time together. Wallhalla is located in Vännfors, Västerbotten, about 30 km from Umeå. The garden has several seating areas and plenty of open space. When the weather allows, many guests have breakfast outside, use the barbecue or simply sit and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Wallhalla is run by Ing-Marie and Stig, who are usually around if you would like recommendations for walks or places to visit nearby. Our rooms at Wallhalla
At Wallhalla, you’ll stay in one of our four rooms, each with its own character and thoughtfully chosen details. The décor blends old and new, with furniture and objects that Stig has collected during his travels over the years, as well as pieces passed down through the generations. You’ll sleep in comfortable beds and have access to two shared bathrooms, with a washing machine and underfloor heating for colder months. From the windows, you can look out over the farmyard and the countryside around Vännfors. In winter, snow lies quietly over the fields, while in summer the evenings remain light well into the night. We clean without chemicals, using only ENJO fibre and water, with care for both our guests and the environment. Below, you can read more about our rooms and see which one suits you best.

Ragnhild double room
A double room with a small adjoining room, offering a little extra space and a quiet place to relax.

Albertina twin room
A bright twin room with views across the fields towards the edge of the woods.

Mina family room
A spacious room for two adults and one child, with views over the garden.

Sleep & Relax
Self-catering accommodation in a detached house for 2–3 guests, with its own shower, toilet and sauna, plus views across the meadows.
Shared spaces
As a guest at Wallhalla, you have access to both the ground floor and the first floor. On the ground floor, there is an entrance hall, a TV room, a dining room and a lounge where you can sit, eat or simply relax. Upstairs, you’ll find the bedrooms and a larger bathroom with a washing machine. If you book an individual room, you will share the house with other guests. You can also book the entire house if you would prefer to have the house to yourselves.
