Albertina twin room

Albertina is a twin room with two single beds at Wallhalla Bed & Breakfast in Vännfors, about 30 minutes from Umeå.

The room is named after Albertina Eriksson, born Johansdotter. She was the mother-in-law of Mina, who was Ing-Marie's paternal grandmother. 

Albertina was born in Sörfors and moved to Sundsvall in 1869 to work as a maid for the midwife Madam Sjöman in Skön. There she met Erik, a farmhand whom she married in 1871. Erik was the father of Karl Hedberg, Mina's husband. They returned to Vännfors, where they bought the homestead in 1874 from Erik's uncle, Jonas Jonsson. 

The room measures 20 m². From the desk, you can look out across the fields towards the edge of the forest. There is plenty of wardrobe space, as well as a retro radio.
