Bring together friends, family or colleagues for memorable moments close to nature. At Wallhalla in Vännfors, 30 km from Umeå, we offer a warm and homely setting for celebrations and meetings. Here, you can enjoy a long dinner together, raise a glass and let the evening unfold at its own pace. Ing-Marie and Stig live on the farm and are happy to help if you need anything. Parties & celebrations in the barn
During the lighter months of the year, we welcome groups to our charming barn in Vännfors, near Umeå. The venue can accommodate up to 50 guests and is well suited to weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties and family gatherings. It is equipped with a sound system and a large-screen TV for speeches and slideshows.
Wedding couples can also stay overnight in a room specially decorated for them.

Meetings & smaller groups
For smaller groups of 8–10 people, we welcome bookings all year round. Between May and October, you can hold meetings and workshops in the barn, while in winter you can gather in the living room in the main house. There, you can sit together around the table in a calm, homely setting. The room is equipped with Wi-Fi and a large-screen TV. Smaller groups can also stay overnight.
We are happy to arrange coffee and home-baked fika during the day, and if you would like to stay longer, we can also arrange food.
On cold winter days, we are happy to light the tiled stove.

Food & Drink
Depending on the size and type of your group, there are several different places where you can gather for food and drink. You might gather around a long table in the house, in the function room or outside in the garden on a summer evening.
We are fully licensed to serve alcohol.

A comfortable place to relax together. If you would like to use the sauna, we will be happy to heat it for you.
Hot tub
Sink into the wood-fired hot tub and enjoy the warm water. Let us know if you would like to book it.
The garden
There are several seating areas in the garden, where you can eat outside for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The orangery
The orangery is a bright space where you can gather to eat, chat or hold a small meeting.

How many guests can you accommodate for a party or meeting?
Our converted barn can accommodate up to 50 guests from May to October. For smaller meetings and gatherings throughout the year, we usually accommodate groups of 8–10 people.
Is overnight accommodation available for groups?
Yes. We have four private rooms where smaller groups can stay. In total, we can accommodate up to 10 overnight guests. Many wedding couples choose to stay in the Ragnhild suite.
Can I hire the whole of Wallhalla?
Yes, smaller groups can book the entire house. You can also book the Sleep & Relax annexe if you need more beds or would like access to the sauna. The hot tub is booked separately.
What equipment is available for meetings and parties?
For meetings, there is Wi-Fi and a large-screen TV for presentations. The function room also has a sound system and a large-screen TV for slideshows.
What relaxation facilities are available at Wallhalla?
You can book the relaxation area, enjoy the sauna or take a dip in the wood-fired hot tub under the open sky. The orangery and garden are also lovely places to gather.
Is Wallhalla licensed to serve alcohol?
Yes, we are fully licensed to serve alcohol. We offer drinks packages to accompany our buffets and dinners.
